Don’t Miss the EEO-1 Filing Deadline, June 24, 2025

If your organization is required to file an EEO-1 Component 1 Report, now’s the time to act. The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has confirmed that the 2024 EEO-1 Component 1 Data Collection website will close on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, and, unlike previous years, no extensions will be granted.

The EEOC made this clear in their initial announcement:

“The collection period will not extend beyond the Tuesday, June 24, 2025 ‘Published Due Date’ deadline.”

This marks a significant shift from past cycles, where deadline extensions were commonly granted. Employers should plan accordingly to avoid last-minute issues or penalties for non-compliance.
